India won by 3 wkts
ENG - 350/7 (50.0 Ovs)
IND - 356/7 (48.1 Ovs)
Man of The Match : Virat Kohli for his 122Runs(105Balls)
48.1 Moeen Ali to Ashwin, SIX, they have done it. India win, leveling their second-highest chase in ODIs ever. Ashwin frees his arms and swings India to a 1-0 lead.. with a maximum over deep mid-wicket!
Moeen Ali [6.0-0-42-0] is back into the attack
47.6 Adil Rashid to Hardik Pandya, SIX, that's the glory hit. Takes India level with England. Full legbreak drifting in, Hardik Pandya makes room and lifts it inside-out, gloriously over extra cover
47.5 Adil Rashid to Hardik Pandya, 2 runs, a run out check sent upstairs. Pandya the man in question but he's just managed to drag his bat inside the line. Poked it to cover-point, the fielder hit the stumps at the other end. Pandya sniffed a second and rushes back, only for mid-on to get his throw almost right to the keeper
47.4 Adil Rashid to Ashwin, 1 run, another single. Pushes it to long-off and runs
47.3 Adil Rashid to Hardik Pandya, 1 run, the ball moves away in the air and has Hardik Pandya mistiming it through extra cover
47.2 Adil Rashid to Ashwin, 1 run, another one swerving in to land full on leg-stump and Ashwin opens the drive through cover this time
47.1 Adil Rashid to Ashwin, no run, drifting in and driven back to Adil Rashid off the front foot

IND 759/7 decl
ENG 477, 207-all out (88.0 Ovs)
India won by an innings and 75 runs
Man of the Match: Karun Nayar 303* Not Out
Man of the Series: Virat Kohli
Ravindra Jadeja :
25(Over)-5(Maidan)-48(Run)-7(Wicket)
His Lifetime best.
3:57pm(IST) local: India needed 10 wickets at the beginning of the day, were 103/0 with Cook, Jennings and the pitch looking set to defy him, but then Jadeja stepped up. That's the thing with this Indian side: it manufactures heroes with induced genius. Nair snaffled the catch one-handed, runs to the stumps and uproots one and so does Kohli, to let out the loudest of roars.
87.6
Jadeja to J Ball, out Caught by Nair!! India slaughter home a 4-0 series win. A full ball turning and bouncing from round the wicket, Ball had his weight back as he prodded at this delivery and edges it to second slip, where Nair takes a one-handed catch to trigger wild celebrations. J Ball c Nair b Jadeja 0(3)
Jadeja to J Ball, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!
India win!
87.5
Jadeja to J Ball, no run, turn and bounce for Jadeja. Looped on off-stump and sharp spin past an uncertain forward defence
87.4
Jadeja to J Ball, no run, slow and full, Ball shuffles into his crease and keeps it out
Jake Ball, right handed bat, comes to the crease
87.3
Jadeja to Broad, out Caught by Pujara!! India one away. The flight on this has Broad coming forward but that's the peril of doing that to Jadeja. The ball kicks up with little turn, brushes the bottom glove with searing lift, pings the chest and pops to FSL. Lots of confusion whether Broad will go for a review, took his time but Buttler rebutted it in the end. Decides not to review and walks. Broad c Pujara b Jadeja 1(16)
Jadeja to Broad, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

Kulasekara to Dhoni, SIX!!, India are World Champions!, A nation of a billion will sleep well tonight. What a shot to end the game. Yuvraj can't control his emotions. He is in tears. Sachin runs in from the dressing room and is mobbed. What marvellous scenes in Mumbai. Dhoni got under the length ball and absolutely hammered that out of sight and out of the park. The White Kookaburra soared over the fence. Bhajji too is in tears. 28 years in waiting and the helicopter shot has brought an end to the game.

Zaheer to Misbah-ul-Haq,
out Caught by Kohli!!
India have reached the final of the 2011 World Cup, they will now face Sri Lanka at Mumbai on the 2nd of April. Misbah-ul-Haq goes for the big hit, a length ball, he decided to send it out of the park, gets more elevation than distance, lands in the safe hands of Virat Kohli at long on, Pakistan have lost by 29 runs, Afridi has a sorry look on his face. Can't help but feel for him
Misbah-ul-Haq and his strange connection with India in World Cups: The massive expectations and the hype placed on this game has not disappointed the millions of fans in both countries. India have held their nerve to go through to their second World Cup final since 2003. The Pakistani openers started off confidently, but once Kamran fell, the Indians built up the pressure. Hafeez threw it away, with a rank bad shot and then Misbah came in to play one of the strangest ODI innings of all time - he perhaps forgot that it was an ODI and played a test like innings. That placed enormous pressure on the others and though he opened out at the end, it was too little, too late.
Sachin Tendulkar looks mighty happy, his expressions speak a thousand words. His dream of winning a World Cup final is at sighting distance now, that would be a fitting tribute to a man who has given it all to the game of cricket. The VIPs in the crowd - Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priety Zinta, Neeta Ambani - all stand up in joy, yes folks, it's not a dream, India are through to the World Cup final.
Some more Insights: Everybody was saying that this was the final before the final. Sydney, Bangalore, Manchester, Centurion and now Mohali, it is India 5- Pakistan 0. Pakistan continue to be haunted by India and that will be bring a lot of cheer to the 1.2 billion Indians. A word also for Shoaib Akhtar, who has decided to bid good bye from International cricket after the World Cup. He did not get a chance today, and he now exits on a sorry note. However, better times lie ahead for Pakistan and it has been a very spirited performance. The Mohali crowd have been absolutely awesome and credit goes to them for giving this match a wonderful atmosphere.
