She loves to be presented as the young heroine of Bollywood have become a producer. A proud Bihari, Neetu Chandra is very happy with the way in her debut production is emerging. Moreover, the actor is planning to get than doubled in Bengali by the context of the film is very relevant in terms of Kolkata on today.
"Bhojpuri cinema needs a youth icon. I was recently anointed youth icon by the Chief Minister of Bihar. I can not be a youth icon and do nothing for the state that has produced the likes of Dr. Rajendra Prasad and Ustad Bismillah Khan Saab. Since we have a responsibility, I decided to make my first Bhojpuri film that deals with the issue of migration. After having made 14 films, I know how to handle my finances. In addition, there are seven seniors around me to help control the production, "says Neetu.
The title of the film is Deswa. "It could also be changed to Desh. The film is about three young people who are trying to get a job in this film. My brother, Nitin Chandra, is making his directorial debut with this film that explores why the people of Bihar need to move out of state to get a job. It is a democratic country and, of course, everyone has that choice to live where he or she wants. But the change must be by choice and not by pressure. Too much of the migration that occurs Bihar, Bengal and UP. Every time there is a brain drain, we can not blame the system. It is time for introspection and take responsibility for ourselves.

Neetu Chandra, who recently turned producer with a Bhojpuri film, wants to dub it in Bengali since the content is revelant in the context of contemporary Kolkata.

What makes Neetu proud of is the fact that the entire film was shot in Bihar. "Bhojpuri films are often shot outside Bihar. Or in and around Mumbai or somewhere in the UP. He was interested in filming in real locations of Bihar. I want to give a facelift to the Bhojpuri film that has earned labeled obscene. My film explores a serious issue and not show skin, "says the actor, who will be the next no problem, Mumbai court Kusar Prasad Ka Bhoot and Kuch Love Jais.
But why not act in the film? "My brother felt that did not suit the role of the heroine," she laughs, adding: "The cable is being played by Aarti Puri."
