Lim Plunkett to Yuvraj Singh, 1 run, 100 for Yuvraj. He has come back in great style. Raise of the bat to the skies and a gesture to the dressing room. Dhoni at the other end is quick to come up and congratulate. No outpouring of emotion from the man, when he got to the landmark. Now what do I see here - a tear or two in the eyes as he takes the helmet off. Yes definitely tears as replays give me a second glance at his celebration after getting to the 100. Taps the glove and the chest with his bat hard and there are the tears of relief. Takes a moment or two to compose himself. Who better than Dhoni at the other end to take care of that aspect. A chat between the two as well, as Yuvraj soaks the moment in. Great scenes! Emotional scenes! Brilliant stuff! Congratulations YUVi! We are proud of You!
Yuvraj Singh made a memorable ODI comeback as he blasted his 14th century in ODIs in the Cuttack ODI against England.
This is Yuvraj’s first ODI Century in nearly five years. He had last scored a century in the 2011 World Cup. Team: West Indies. Venue: Chennai.
An astonishingly good century by Yuvi. 14th ODI, his fourth against England. He has repaid the faith of the selectors. He has repaid the faith in himself and that of his family in fighting a battle bigger than the sport itself. Mind blowing!
Let's celebrate and wish him Luck! Congratulations Yuvi!
